Sitting in a comfortable chair, book in hand, fire in the fireplace warming the room and a cat in our lap purring as you pet her;  that’s just one of the scenarios that can make you want to bring home a cat or maybe even an adorable kitten.  But before rushing out to the shelter or the nearest pet store, there are some important things to consider when choosing a cat.
